Goshala

Cows and humans share a sacred relationship that has been highly valued throughout the ages. It is in our practice for every home to keep and care for a cow who in turn nourishes the family.
It is our duty to preserve these beautiful beings, especially the indigenous cows of Bharat. Rathna Charitable Trust established a Goshala in 2012 to preserve our indigenous cattle. The Goshala has been nourishing over 40 cows at Ānandhathāndavapuram, a serene village near Mayiladuthurai.
